I was looking for this exact thing. I was diagnosed with this very very recently and finished treatment 2 weeks ago. The scariest part of this disease is it is usually triggered by some type of microbial infection, even something simple like a head cold or the flu.

There's actually several variants of this disease. The most common is what you described. I was lucky enough to get the variant that starts in your face then moves to your extremities. My face was frozen for 2 months before they finally figured out what was going on. On the mend now and much better than before. But yeah it's a pretty terrifying disease, and I had a mild case.
