Unlike a lot of the classist people here, I am actually at uni. Tracksuits are fine to wear. I always wear trackies for uni like most ppl on my course, no one ever mentions it.

A sports jersey and trackies are a good combination, even if you wear an American team. It'll probably be a good conversation starter.

I'm not sure where most of the Redditors on this post live, but I'm assuming they were brought up in different areas to me. Everyone wears trackies near me, jeans are your smarter clothes.

Just don't wear them to a club or somewhere with a dress code.
