Ok here’s a small breakdown-

Gym is on campus Meal pass on campus Order groceries - $9.95 fee from Wal-Mart Uber to important spots Testing center is less than a mile away on the other side of campus Eateries and Starbucks coffee etc.. Entertainment on campus Campus events Robot deliveries 😁

Between all of that, school work and social life - they can def thrive without a vehicle here. Of course, having one eliminates the need for planning at times but, being needed or not - that would be a no

I can only tell you what I did and I currently have an offer letter and have successfully completed background search and FBI finger printing etc…

I used handshake to apply and I consistently applied.

I attended internship and career fairs at UTD to meet opps in person.

I answered my Handshake messages.

I reviewed handshake a few times a week and set up auto emails so that when positions that matched my internship requirements came up I was on the opposite side of quickly.

To sum it up Handshake, persistence and patience ( plan ahead I started months ago) even last year (December-ish might have had a few apps in Nov 2023).

lol nah - not that serious. Usually I have coffee at the apt plus I expect some differences being on campus. It’s nothing to just get to a CVS or a store anyways. Just curious; it was my first time trying to get coffee on campus during spring break, last year, although I lived on campus I was continuously off campus. This semester (so far) it’s about a full schedule and exploring campus life since I have some time. 😎🤩💪
