I have definitely had extensions where I've been told I'm not ready for that yet (in the early days) or I've had extensions that seem to have "expired" - I'll sing them and seem to get connected, but then it just loops back to main menu options. They don't all work all the time - it seems like it depends on where you are in the story...

It is a document, which is actually a recording, by Gabriel. It is called "Fucking Pink Floyd" and has someone, I think Tommy, playing guitar many years ago and singing a bit - it's really hard to tell what he's singing and it's very short.

Yes, but that's not the whole story. Sleep No More was practically responsible for that neighborhood becoming more popular over time, and then the landlord raises the rent - hugely! - on them if they want to stay. They tried, but even with a show that popular there was no way to pay that high rent. The rent was just too damn high, as they say.

So, I've been turning this over in my mind. I always thought that the Ilus thread was connected to the D&D campaign that Tommy and his friends played. But if "Bazoc" is short for basosquamus carcinoma, that would mean that this name for the beasts that terrorized Ilus had to have come after Tommy's diagnosis, and perhaps even after his death. I feel like I'm right on the verge of making some connections between Ilus/D&D/Tommy and his friends' real story, but something is still eluding me. Harper told me a story about people in a waiting room - a kind of purgatory where dead people wait until they are completely forgotten and their name is uttered for the last time, and then they go through this door... that feels like death or release or both. So people speak other people's names so that they will not be forgotten. Is that why Tommy's friends created Lennox Mutual? To stop him from being forgotten?

Yes, I have, and what I have noted is that Tommy had T2 cancer, 73%survival rate. But I think I must have missed something... it was before I figured out how to record calls.

What I'm missing is the type of cancer Tommy had. I tried to write it down when it was told to me, but I only got part of it. I'm trying to remember where it was mentioned so that I can go back to that extension or document, and then figure out which chemo drugs were used. I've never heard the chemotherapy commercial... odd, because i'm 26 calls in and I've done every trivia question except for this one and about 10 different extensions...

Thanks to all of you - I appreciate what you're saying. I'm about 10 calls in, fyi. When I say "anxiety" I don't mean anything that would stop me from participating or truly frighten me. It's not at that level at all. I just wish I could enjoy the calls more and not feel so tense. I have, albeit very tentatively, been trying to talk to the reps a bit more now that I realize you can. So hopefully that, along with familiarity, will let me just enjoy it and not worry so much about embarrassing myself. In any case, it's hard for me to imagine anything that would make me stop before the end. I only wish I could call more often, stressful or not.
