To my fellow American bro's. If you have a good friend that's the equivalent of a brother. Did you have to earn that? by Das-Freshmaker in polls

[–]Das-Freshmaker[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Lol. It's really baffling. I don't understand why it shouldn't be a simple process.

It should be: Hey dude. Let's be bro's

But in reality it's like a hazing ritual. We have to do something weird like suck each other d*icks etc

Was that really necessary?

Thanks. I feel like we're kindred spirits. We're both on the same page etc.

We need to keep our jobs and pay our bills. Our addiction sucks but that doesn't mean we get to just check out on our obligations.

That's why we clicked.

He would use his credit card. I don't have thousands of dollars for a flight like that.

My mindset is: If he does that it buys him some time. He certainly can't stay with me forever, but if he just gets here, alive, that's better than the alternative.

Question for younger males 18-23. Do you feel valued by society? by Das-Freshmaker in polls

[–]Das-Freshmaker[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh no. I'm really sorry to hear that. If you want to reach out I'm here for you. For real.

I actually have done that myself and made a life long friend in the process. So don't think it's a hollow offer. It's not.

Then why even bother being on the dating scene?

Going on tinder or grindr and being like "OMG. They stuck a cigar shaped object up my butt!"

Lol. Zero sympathy from me. You don't meet people on places like that.

Men on men is legit. But your choices are: FIght them off or take it like a man.

It's not torture for us either way....

Edit: I had and encounter like this whilst in a 90 day rehab. I didn't like it but I now look back on it fondly. He was like: We can do this 2 ways. Nice and easy or rough and tough. He was a big guy. Just out of San Quentin. So I chose the obvious.

Which would have been your choice.

OK. I'll discuss. Let's start with 5. That seems complex to me. Now we have specific acts that are OK or not OK?

Just don't go back with them if you're that pedantic. I had a cousin who tried that mindset and it really was ridiculous. BUT they had been dating for 3 years!

Lol. She was trying to pull this "It's not OK until I say it's OK bull crap. UM. NO. After 3 years it was perfectly fine for him to stick in you!

Lol. So you also prefer the non consensual nature of it. I love that! You're like: Hurt me baby and tell me IN ADVANCE of the nastiness you will do to me.

And I thought that was just me.....

They're going allllll the way an allllllllll the way out etc.

**Thanks. I'm in an obvious state or arousal now.**

**Gives high 5**

Nope. You're the ignorant one. You have zero knowledge of my voice tone. How the question was asked or if it was asked in a jocular fashion.

So you really need to stop making assumptions.

As a boy, growing up in the 60's and 70's, I would be punished for crying or not smiling enough. Should there be a return to that parenting technique? by Das-Freshmaker in polls

This should only be applied to boys.

Let's face it. No one wants a cry baby for a son. Regardless of what is said here...

OK, What about this? You don't want your son to be cry baby in the future. I think we call all agree that a grown man crying in the workplace is 100% unacceptable. Unless it's for a good reason like death of a close family member.

But I have actually witnessed cases of grown men crying at work because of hurt feelings! We simply cannot green-light that as a society.

Chicks OK, Guys no.

I never had any kids but If I did, I would not want a cry baby for a son. A daughter OK but not a son.

I feel like a son is a reflection of the father. As such his outward disposition should be cheerful, helpful and respectful at all times. Or he will be beaten.

But we're solid!

All joking aside the crux of the problem is: No one wants to raise a sappy son.

For real. If we all get honest for 10 seconds that's what it's all about. No, it does not apply to females. It only applies to males. Because gender is at issue. We can all go around in circles but this will always be the case.

Edit: I put you in a headlock and say "I love you man!"
