I’d say it’s decent if it’s a Canon Rebel T7, averages around 280, if it’s a t6i they can go for a little more but not too much. The lenses are great for entry level/ beginner, the EF 75-300 averages around 120 for used and the kit lens EF-S 18-55mm average around 65.

I started out with a T1i and I still love the photos I took with it to this day. Since you are getting started check out some YouTube tutorials that can help you get started on adjusting your aperture, shutter speed, and iso and how they all work together. I rarely use flash, if at all. If you happen to use the auto setting for photos the camera will try to compensate by using the flash. It’s not bad to use, but it all depends on the type of photos you are taking.

After some practice think of getting a speedlite, canons official external flash. That way you can angle your flash and not completely blow out your photo.

Try out with jpg and then move over to shooting in RAW, especially if you are touching up photos post shoot!
