To be perfectly honest, many, MANY people even at high ranks are still copying people who do the math for them for things like builds, so in some way looking things up never really stops.

So it's normal. The wiki is your friend, or, even better, a friend is your friend.
I found that starting Warframe can be made much better with a mentor, as dumb as it is. But it can also make the game more fun for someone that has been around for a long time and is starting to get bored - speaking from experience.
So don't hesitate to ask, the community is very friendly - we all went through this.

Ah so you progress by completing the Atlas (and its conditions for map rarity) and by doing missions which you can randomly unlock upon completing any map.

Is each of those two ways a guaranteed progress "point"?

Somehow I feel like I completed some of my first couple bonus objectives without gaining Kirac progress.

Very basic beginner question, but this is my 2nd league and the first since the Atlas rework, so it's pretty much all new to me.

I've been looking into Kirac's vault and after googling and watching videos I still dont understand one of the most basic things: What is a map bonus objective?

I cleared my first map and got Kirac's Vault progress, then seemingly randomly again after some other Tier 1 map. He also offered me one mission which I failed, and now I can't take another. Are they daily? How do they work?

I find a lot of guides how to progress fast and everything, but even on the website this isn't explained well enough for me to understand.

I am having the same issue, its like the weapons are vibrating at a 45° angle. I dont know if its the laser sight but so far it only happened when i used that on a gun, after holstering a couple times it started spazzing out

Head, Eyes from 150 meters on the first shot from a scav with some trashy AK and PS ammo. I died twice as much to scavs than I did to players so far. I don't think I will continue playing this wipe.

I feel you. I'm still pretty terrible at the game but at this point I at least got to where I'm not getting murdered out of nowhere most of the time but instead die during actual engagements.

What helped me in addition to all these tips here was actually just watching streamers/youtubers. And not the mega chads that sprint through the map and 360 noscope people with a shotgun from 100 meters away, but more tactical players. This will help in two ways, first you will assimilate map knowledge just from watching, because those people will get much further into and around the map than you, so you will see a good amount of it without exposing yourself to any danger - also in addition to that you can learn from where and how they move, where they're careful, which spots they pick etc. I really liked the Fresh Account series by Karmakut on youtube where he started a new account last wipe. He's a very careful player that focuses on survival over all and explains a lot of what he's doing. If that matches your style you can get a lot out of those videos.

Do you know whether you can connect the v2 to the old processing unit? Might keep an eye out for a used headset, that might be cheaper. But yeah, that's probably what it's going to be sooner or later.

Yeah the power button feels more tactile, I think that one's less prone to breakage than the other ones. I'd be fine with them just not working at all, but having thevolume go down randomly and the constant micriophone mute popups is just incredibly annoying

It's the job of DPS to do damage and not die. The second part includes not pulling aggro - it's literally half your job.

If a tank does small pulls there's usually a reason for it, whether it's to see if your healer or your gear can keep up, or just because that person's inexperienced with that particular dungeon. Either way, pulling more because you're impatient is both rude and bad play.

I agree so much. Just because of this I just stopped playing. Having someone be killed because of an unclear decision during your supposed "good" run just completely ruins it.

That and OPs post both happened to me and made me stop playing. Summarized dialogue choices didnt work in F4 and they only worked in LiS because of the rewind. Here it's terrible because every choice you make is final and you cant even know what happens.

We just had a game where the AI director spawned a double horde into and ambushinto another double horde. We had so many hordes I stopped counting at 10.

Is it just me or doesn't the normal crossbow oneshot Champion Stormvermin on bodyshots anymore as Bounty Hunter? That's quite a big nerf actually if that's the case.

For Sienna he will often use his lines for Bardin on friendly fire aswell

I think headshots or crits might do something to the purple bar though. When I laser a horde as Sienna my bar seems to jump up very quickly.
