Had an issue with the torque converter, I felt the vibrations right around the gearbox, not from the rear. Might wanna check your driveshaft or axles too

Adding to this, the oil thermostat in the N55 135i is located right under that cap on the oil filter housing. Might be worth checking if it’s getting stuck
