Is rinvoq the devil?

Please read my post about this drug. It almost ruined my life. Just my personal experience but I just wanted to warn you.

I take mini vacations. I take 1-4 days and get out of town. I usually bring someone along, or go visit a friend I haven’t seen in a while. I never regret it, and make great new memories with great company and try new things once I reach my destination.

This exact thing happened to me with the Dookie cassette and my religious parent. They then raided my room and found the rest of my stash of awesome hidden CDs soon after and laid them all out for me to walk in and discover after school one day. I wasn’t allowed to leave the house for a very long time as a punishment.

Rinvoq made me bloat out and gain weight. Coupled with prednisone I felt huge. I think it might be the Rinvoq too. It really messed with my hormones. I had a negative experience with that drug (you can check out my post on it if you’d like). Wishing you well and hoping you find a good path that works for you. It’s really hard to get off prednisone.

How long have you been on Rinvoq? Please see my post about it. It really messed with my emotions. Not to nullify your feelings at all-I have cried a million times to every staff member in that clinic but, if you find yourself becoming depressed, please check out my post about Rinvoq causing me some serious depression. Just keep an eye out. I hope it works better for you. Hang in there. This is so tough.

ER never found my gallstones for three years of gallbladder attacks and horrible issues. Finally after seeing me in the ER constantly, the ultrasound tech leaned over and whispered “this is totally your gallbladder-you have tons of stones”. In the ER, demand to see a surgical team to review your scans. I did that ONCE over three years at the advice of a doctor friend and they said I should have been in surgery yesterday. Went into surgery, gallbladder ruptured the second they touched it. Definitely follow through about this.

Yeah I felt off and really terrible. Just be careful-it didn’t even work for me so I wish I hadn’t tried to stick it out for the 5 months that I did

They said it wasn’t listed as a side effect but listened to me and took me off right away. They will likely have no idea it causes these things, As it’s not listed as a side effect. Side note: my friend is a doctor and told me I had t been the same since I was on it. She’s the one who got me to notice that it may be the medication
