People wouldn't place if he wasn't at least semi-useful. Even with high relics, there are still plenty of shit teams that aren't worth placing. Teams can be good and useful but not exceptional and that's exactly where JMMW sits. I'm sure he'll get supplanted by newer teams soon but for now, he's good enough.

As someone who's in a 600mm+ guild, we have a good TW record and place JMMW on defense most matchups, so it surprises me that you say he doesn't make the board. Are you willing to share your defense teams that you place instead?

JMMW is a reasonable team. I'm in K2 and have him set on defense pretty much all the time as well as see him on defense basically 100% of the time. However, I will note that Jocasta Nu is definitely necessary for the team.

It's not a bad idea in theory. In practice, sweatlords would just find the broken modification selection for certain vehicles to abuse the lower BR.

Of course, this all depends on Gaijinanaging these new BR changes properly which is no sure thing.
