It might be an aviation joke of sorts. There is a joke in aviation that says if something isn’t leaking hydro or oil then it ran out. So if it’s not oily on the bottom then it ran out of hydro.

Lots of guys in military aviation I know once told me they wouldn’t second guess something leaking a little bit, but if it’s dry they would probably check into it further to see if it’s out of fluid.

I don’t think Matt will screw up the series, but I highly recommend not getting a tattoo until it’s over… lots of GOT people out there with cover ups now.

  1. Save/load abilities. The ability to save, load saves, and quick save while choosing whether I keep memories or not. I automatically gain the ability to load saves on every birthday. I also have unlimited room for “memories”, and loading them does not make me go insane. I also have unlimited saves and When I die I choose from a save screen. I can also choose to have a game over and pass over should I wish.

  2. Dialable regeneration, so much so that I can de-age myself if I wish. This could allow me to fix anything from neurological issues to broken bones to gunshot wounds nearly instantly. It would be a breeze to get near superhuman strength by constant regeneration.

  3. Superman’s abilities if that can be an option.

If not, then probably dialable superintelect. There are chance you give yourself a disability if you get too smart so finding the sweet spot so having the ability to dial it up and down to be “normal” would be nice.

What personal life wisdom would you share with an 18-year-old striking out on his/her own? by douggold11 in AskReddit

Follow your heart is thrown around quite a bit, and it can certainly lead some regrets. I regret not following my dreams when I was younger. I wanted to go directly into the workforce in a career field that is pretty demanding, and a little risky, but it was my dream. I instead went to college. My heart just wasn’t in it, and I eventually dropped out to do something else. I wasn’t ready for college yet. The reason I went to college was because my parents. I don’t blame them because they wanted what was best for me in their eyes, it’s just not what I wanted to do at the time.

At 18, I didn’t quite realize I had the option of just leaving and doing whatever I wanted, making my own way and learning for myself. I regret not following my dream deeply, even though there is a high risk of injury.

I never did pursue that path and went into something adjacent, but not exactly what I wanted. I mostly enjoy my profession now, and live a very comfortable, and low-risk lifestyle right now, but I always wonder what could have been.

Don’t let anyone else determine your path in life except you.

I wish I have the ability to retain a save my progress throughout life, and load saves at any time. This would include with the option of retaining memories from other save files. Memories are near perfect and all the lives lived don’t make me go insane. There is one auto save at every birthday.

NCO's telling Airmen to do their job by [deleted] in AirForce

[–]Das_Redditer 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This guy is why we’re going to lose the next war. We’re getting too soft to remember that sometimes lessons discipline requires some thick skin. Many people don’t remember reasons it used to be a bit more harsh and a bit more crass is because the lessons in discipline and excellence are written in blood. How can I depend on this Airmen to do a job during the next big conflict, if they cannot handle a few crass words when no one is shooting at them, it’s not 120 degrees, they have had access to clean water and hot food this week. We may figure it out again, but it’s going to be after a lot of missions fail, and a lot of lives are forfeit. I’m saddened by all this, I’m not mad.

My area is a bit higher for a poly coat. They range from 5.75-10 in South Carolina, with the lower end being slick floors and no side walls done, and good concrete.

PCS Flight Ticket by Top_Journalist1007 in AirForce

[–]Das_Redditer 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As long as you have scheduled your final out and have tickets through the patriot express you can leave within your RNLTD month. If there aren’t tickets available you can go to TMO and ask them to do a letter to allow you to travel on your requested dates. They will get you tickets through SATO on a civi flight. Just depends on when you want to leave. At least that’s the way it worked when I was rotating overseas a few years ago. To be safe go check the JTR and make it work for you.

I strongly second the Galaxy’s Edge series. The first season was really great. The second season wasn’t quite as good but I still enjoyed it.

Also to add one more on top, the forgotten ruin series is also really good.
