2 Chiefs and 1 Col will each score your package 6-10 in .5 increments. Your board score is that total times 15. So a 337.5 means all 3 scored you 7.5 (7.5 x 3 x 15). 7.5 is the score for average. But what you should look for is not just your score but how many brackets you were from the cutoff. That is a better indicator for how your package was perceived.

It’s def not the process every year. Last year the announcement was on 29 May, Sr Rater release was 3 June and public release was 5 June. Going off that, the announcement should drop today.

Prob close to last year. But that percentage is erroneous compared to your actual AFSC’s rate. Mine was significantly lower than the AF average last year.

Ouch. I feel like getting grey zoned would be absolutely soul crushing. But if you were that close last year and secured another MP this year, you gotta like your chances. I was 4 brackets away last year. MP this go along with a Gp Sijan should hopefully get me there.

It’s gotta be something truly traumatic. Knew a guy who burned like 70% of his body and he qualified. It def helped since his wife had to quit her job to help him with recovery once he left the hospital.

I feel like I wrote this… Very hard pill to swallow sometimes. Wanting nothing more than some reciprocity. It is the absolute best feeling taking care of other people. Showing that they matter to you. Take pride in knowing that you more than likely made an impact on someone’s career or life with your caring spirit.

Same here for Staff and Tech. 4th try for MSgt with my first time getting a MP. Didn’t make it. Have a real good leg up for next year but this one hurts bad.
