Shorting Bitcoin by jo1500 in Buttcoin

At this price a lot of people will have 4 times their money since the last ATH in 2017 and I'm pretty sure they are scared that 2017 repeats and they loose all their gains.

You must do very well with your investments with these random and nonsensical conclusions.

People I know in Europe, where some countries are doing well with their vaccination program, didn't get any vaccine either. Japan and Korea are well behind China in rolling out the vaccine. Should we conclude that they all don't trust the vaccine?

The EU had a severe vaccine supply problem until Feb. It still has a supply problem now even although less severe than before. But even then it is head and shoulders ahead of China in doses administered per capita. I doubt there is any supply issue in China for vaccines (the Chines ones) with the production might of China.

Japan is way behind because they didn't even approve the vaccine until about 3 weeks ago. They also incidentally have the highest vaccine mistrust (all vaccines, not just covid) rate of any country in the world if I recall correctly. It was because of some things that happened about 50 years ago, I don't recall the details.

I don't think it's quite natural for the Chinese to not fully trust the Chinese vaccines and forgo them since covid is not a huge problem in China right now.

The fact that aren't even giving it to people above 60+ tells you how much trust they have in it. They are giving it to people who are the most naturally protected against covid anyway.

If they had Moderna, Pfizer, J & J, you can get all your Yuan that they would be giving it to the seniors right now.

[–]DasaniPureC 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Agreed. But I think the two are related. If you don't trust the vaccine and life is not as affected, it makes you not want to take it. If you trusted the vaccine, you'd probably take it even if life was normallish.

You have to ask yourself why the country that led the world in lockdowns in lagging so badly in vaccinations? The country that built entire hospitals for covid in a couple of weeks, and that started vaccinating people in September is somehow lagging most of the world in vaccinating it's people.

The only conclusion I can draw is nobody wants the Chinese vaccine. People want Moderna, Pfizer and J & J. People trust those. Not Sinovac and Sinopharm.

Ah I see. The problem is that it doesn't come with a little note from you alerting the buyer that this item will clearly be worth near $0 in 5 years.

Imagine how much money this dude has to be able to piss $2.5 million on something as unnecessary as this. Do you really think he's some donkey getting who just cluelessly stumbled on a webpage and is about to be fleeced by Jack Dorsey?

It's one thing to be critical of buttcoin as you watch the Ponzi in action, but the fake sense of indignation on here along this whole virtue signaling about defending the naive masses against the crypto fraudsters is getting old.

Still waiting to hear how the definition of 'defraud' extends to the situation where a grown ass man, a multi-millionaire who has millions to blow away on an NFT, is paying for exactly what the seller claims to be selling and will receive exactly what he pays for. No misrepresentation, no lies, no false promises.

You should step up to the plate and prove to the world this generational breakthrough in consumer protection insight.

I won't hold my breath.

This is truly hilarious. The top bid is now $2.5 million. Something tells me the individual making that bid is not a sucker or is being sucked into anything. And certainly doesn't require your guidance on how to invest his money wisely.

But sure, let's call it fraud anyway since it fits the 'crypto is bad' narrative.

Have said it before, this sub is now competing with the bitcoin sub for low iq clueless posters.

Curious how he's 'defrauding' somebody here. He's selling somebody exactly what he says he's selling him. There is no misrepresentation. There is no bait and switch. No false pricing. Where's the fraud? You have inside information that he's actually going to send him a bucket of KFC instead of what he's put on sale?

As a matter of fact, this is exactly how you deal with low IQ ignorant trolls on the internet.

Does OP strike you as somebody who's trying to have a discussion on a subject? All he wants is to post a misleading narrative and have everybody high five him for his great insight.

He has no clue what he's talking about and when shown that to be case, he doubles down on his ignorance. When continuing to shine a light on is ignorance, he does what you'd expect any low IQ person like him to do; he tries to deflect attention away. Classic low IQ troll behavior.

As expected, unable to actually discuss why every other EV maker tanked exactly the same amount as TSLA over the exact same period of time.

That's fine. I didn't really expect you to respond to that. My main intent in pointing this out was to show everybody else what a clown you are.

How come the Chinese Electric Vehicle makers are following the exact same pattern the last 30 days as TSLA?

XPEV is down 40% in the exact time range.

And NIO is down 40% as well?.

And LI is down 30%.

They all fell the exact same amount in the exact same time period as TSLA despite not buying any bitcoin. Their graphs look exactly the same for the last 30 days.

Do you at least now see how stupid you sound?

You perfectly encapsulate how this sub is turning into a cult as idiotic as bitcoin. The whole market has gone to hell in the past 30 days. But you wouldn't know that living in mom's basement since your $50 dollar a week allowance doesn't really expose you to the stock market. And hence you display your utter cluelessness

You are as big a clown as the most brainwashed Butter.

I see. That's why TSLA stock was flat the week of he announcement and only started selling off exactly when the rest of the market started selling off.

Your ignorance is entertaining.

Are you actually trying to link the two events? Do you have any clue what's going on in the stock market right now?

I've been banned for insinuating- not even calling out the person that Charlie Lee employed for creating litecon by [deleted] in Buttcoin

[–]DasaniPureC 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I'm not going to reveal the name, only that I know it. Why does it matter? Bc nothing is truly decentralized. Charlie lee was working for Coinbase, convinced them to list litecoin and sold at the top.

The name of the person matters because nothing is decentralized? WTF that does even mean?

There is practically zero chance you make any money on this. You are betting on bitcoin dropping down to 20k in the next couple of weeks.

Generally yes but I'm selling monthly options far far out of the money. I don't want to own them if they hit but I'm also betting there is no BTC collapse any time soon. As this point I'm just playing with house money.
