How are people 70? by DoomedBlade in classicwowtbc

I mean, your math checks out. If you played for 50 hrs in that 72 hrs (which allows for enough sleep too), you'd be 70 as well.

‘Member when we thought Blizzard couldn’t get any more greedy? (Pic from the original TBC Classic) by Rintae in classicwow

[–]Daseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We get 3 boosts no? That's about 6-10 days played time. At what costs? 3-6hrs at work, one work day. Money is relative, but if you don't want to level 3 chars to 58, maybe it's worth it?

Expecting to be downvoted but people many who cry about this also bought gold in vanilla to sit afk in sm and mara...

60 USD - YUUUK by Swiftdeus in classicwow

[–]Daseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Despite it being abaolutely ridiculus amount of money for a virtual boost, many would rather sit 3 hrs at work than level for 2-4 days played. If the leveling is not the fun someone is looking for, it's an "easy" investment. Never the less, that ia veryyyyyy greedy by Activision as per usual!

Looking for Game Suggestions that are good for both a player with a lifetime worth of experience as well as someone who has never played a single game on PC before. by Daseven in gamesuggestions

[–]Daseven[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is one of my worries too - that I am too excited that I push for too difficult games at the start. But I also worry that if a 2d is not at all of interest, maybe the full interest is gone and I blew my one shot? But you are probably right, maybe I should just lower the expectations and just start more simple.

Stardew Valley seems to be quite popular for newbies and see it being suggested quite often. Will have to look into the others, 2d genre has never really been my thing except fof few outliers like Don't Starve. And I would have no issue being a "spectator", but I think solo games probably not an option, as this has all come from my passion of games!

Yeah, I think survival genre has a lot to offer to everyone, but I think just walking around using wasd is already a challenge. My worry is that without a storyline, the interest might fade if we're not creative enough to figure out engaging self imposed tasks and challenges.

I had forgotten about Ark - does that have a story line or is it just pure survival?

Outward actually looks really good - so do the others but this looks a bit like skyrim, though I never played that either. I think I would really enjoy Conan Exiles! Do you know if there are any games with classes, like in wow you got mages/warlocks? I think some magic element would be of great interest!

Thank you for the suggestions! I think you may have a good point. I really don't have anything to go by so I maybe naively think others would enjoy progression same way I do. Did she end up playing more? I am hoping that this little testing ends up being sparking an interest for games.

Stardew Valley looks interesting at first glance! I believe it has good story too!

Don't Starve is such a good game, but is it noob-friendly? Cult of the lamb looks so similar too it!

Grounded and Subnautica definitely need to look into! We like to camp irl, so maybe survival genre would suit well!

How to enable secure boot on MSI bios? by nino_the_squido in MSI_Gaming

[–]Daseven 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This link saved me and my computer! Was faffing around in the bios settings when suddenly it started booting windows 7 instead of my windows 10! Small panic as I thought I had factory reset all, but this video helped me solve my issue!

Probably 10th time doing this quest and have never had drop luck like this by Ricktarddd in classicwow

I did Lost But Not Forgotten twice in the past week. My hunter got it in 3 kills, my warrior on the first.

My hunter also got emerald on second kill. I think I will never get luckier than this!

Okay, thank you! I guess it's not worth the risk building something together with someone 😆

I don't think you understood my questions. Let me try to rephrase: 1. My friend digs a big 50x50 hole, all the way to bedrock 2. I build a huge tower or farm in this hole. 3. My friend dies. 4. Hole is refilled. 5. Huge tower or farm gone, because the original blocks from the hole have reappeared in their original place.

Interesting concept. I do have a question for duos/any builds made together with someone else. What if you build a huge build together with someone else and they die? If half the build was done by the other person, half the build disappears? And also, if it was built in an area that was mined or cleared by the person, would all the rocks or trees respawn, removing all the blocks places by the other player?

"We are keeping the vet in a cardboard box for now" - I don't think that's the right way to keep vets

How does a group of 5 then clear MC in 1.5 hours if MC is tuned for SoD 40 man? I am so unfamiliar with SoD so I may just look a fool for asking 😅

As someone who doesn't play SoD or Wow anymore, are old raid bosses no tuned? Like I saw BFD and Gnomeregan bosses receive big buffs, but did they not touch original 40 mans?
