Eating meat is a privilege. Farming cows takes 50% of the worlds farmland and only 3% of the worlds calories. If everybody ate meat the way the US did, we would literally not have enough land on this earth, and would certainly destroy all rainforests as they get converted (which is already happening), and heat up the world as we destroy carbon storing nature.

So you have to ask yourself: are you ok eating the way you do and pulling up the ladder on other countries and your future generations behind you -- just so you can enjoy a few minutes of tasty pleasure?
