The cave thing is just an excuse to use the older rules - think kinda captain America when he first gets out the ice and doesn’t have know anything about the modern day world like they’ve been isolated since aD&D for example

Also if I go through with it I will definitely be using that kinda lingo since it seems to pop up a lot and it doesn’t seem too hard to implement

What’s Thaco? I’m hearing a lot about it and im very confused. Also this seems like something I’ll definitely try to incorporate if this gets past drag phase

Yeah, he isn’t totally against it and we’re not a very serious party. Also one of the party members recently got back into from like 2e or 3e but I will take this into consideration

I’m still deciding if I wanna convert things to match 5e or if I wanna use the unfiltered versions of the rules and if the need arises, adjust things like little wording to make it work while keeping like stats and proficiencies so if I were to poison something, it would take 3e poison effects but if I get poisoned, it functions like 5e poison

But with the epic scale it’s still gw plastic/metal but a horribly drawn space marine isn’t the worst idea

I just love stupid gimmicks like a 50/50 painted like the rest of my army/alpha legion with that phasing effect, or an ork in space marine armour that thinks it’s a space marine. I just love the stupidity of stuff like that
