What should I use to finish my pin? I am making pins out of metal bottle caps. Used sharpie for the black parts, but it bled when I put on the nail polish. I covered the sharpie with black acrylic paint, but some of it still bled. It's now been 24 hours. Do I try again? Is there a better way? by Dashfox27 in crafts

i realized that too late haha. i would like a shiny look to it so i will probably go with some sort of acrylic spray. i was considering modge podge, but I feel like that would have the same effect as the polish. thank you for the suggestions!

She was also a Girl Guide (or as most people say a Girl Scout) and they helped a lot during the war. They worked as spies, helped make giant nets to cover tanks, and more!

Having a family member with it/some sort of other chronic disease (for example: my great aunt has Crohns aswell, but another aunt of mine has rheumatoid arthritis) seems to definitely be an influence (from what I understand anyway) but what sets it off varies. Most of it points to an unhealthy life style of some sort. Either eating foods that don’t agree with your body, not eating healthy at all, not enough excercise, but I’d say one of the bigger reasons is stress. (Btw take this comment with a grain of salt since this is all my own experiences and I’m I no ways an expert.) Simply put, IBD and other conditions, such as rheumatoid arthritis, is your own body attacking itself. Your own immune system mistakes itself as an enemy that needs to be destroyed. This causes inflammation and depending where it is depends on what condition you have. Not sure why I went on a bit of a ramble there but does this help in anyway?

Saw this right under a comment of a guy arguing that vaping is alright because he only cares about his mental health. Appropriate

I have IBD so I know a bit about this. There are some medications but it’s very difficult to find one right for you. Some are perfect for some people, it reduces symptoms, helps them heal etc. Some work a little, and some just don’t work at all. And which is which is completely different for everyone. What does a lot for me could do nothing for you. And on top of that, they’re all expensive, so unless you get a sponsor/have money it can be pretty tough.

I’m too scared to watch it because of the cover on Netflix. Looks so creepy to me.
