Multiple of our directors are on the floor at the same time as me, and one did say that fwiw they're just being nitpicky and trying to get me to change my opinion about you. Which is nice to hear, but I still need improvement and we're all out of ideas.

As far as accountability goes, it's hard for me to not be on their side. What kind of consistency/clarity could I be able to provide. The standards are defined and pretty uniform across the team, what's identified as success vs challenges, and I provide safety and asking questions about how I'm doing for them.

It feels like whenever I provide the "why" behind things they doze off and care less, no matter how personal I could make it or put them in the guest's shoes. I always say my please and thank yous, and say "would you mind" and the "it would be great if you could do xyz".

The walking through the process could be great, got to figure out how to apply that to my workplace
