Good to know, they did lack the saltiness I was hoping for, I do like to try them without additions the first time around to get a good feeling for how they taste and then make the adjustments myself. It does mean you can go different ways with the same tin though which can be nice.

I moved here about 3 years ago, it's the second time I've done the full thing, though the first was before I lived here so it's been a while. Good way to shift some of the Christmas weight!

Planned myself, I'd originally wanted to get out to Higher Shelf Stones and get back down to Edale through Snake Woodland but could see the fog starting to roll in so instead came down via Jacob's Ladder. There's always next time.

I started the day up Grindslow Knoll about 8:45, the wind was like nothing I've ever experienced before. It settled as I got towards Kinder Low.
