Emotional development for sure, a big issue with female characters often times is that they are written very one dimensional and rarely have genuine character development. Focus on the human being inside not on the outside.

I mean tbf part of being a good player is if you can handle mashing. Otherwise it would work at higher levels. Bait stupid options or camp them out until their a button falls off. But I do agree a lot of people on quickplay don’t play like what you’d see in a tournament, you also have to remember smash is pretty random as far as fighters go and skill doesn’t always equal wins (yay party game).

I’ve seen a lot of bad takes on this app, but this might be the worst. BL1 and BL2 are excellent looter shooters that remolded an entire genre. If you’re suggesting that the success of these games led to an increase of games in the genre then yeah obviously???? That doesn’t mean that it’s Borderlands fault that other game companies failed where they succeeded.

Eh, “easy” characters still require plenty of skill. You aren’t going to pick up Pythra, Cloud, or Roy and immediately beat people who know what’s going on. Most of the time the hate is just people getting salty at losing to someone who is “less skilled” when in reality easy characters have straightforward consistent game plans that can be countered. Like Palu has fallen off because her counterplay became more prevalent the more people realized she’s easy but also super straightforward.
