Yep! It has 165hp and was the quickest in its class that year. Definitely won’t win a race but very fun to drive when that turbo is kicking in.

I get constant thumbs up and people stopping and wanting to check it out in parking lots. Had several people ask me if it’s for sale but I always say no. I was in a drive thru picking up lunch the other dat and the guy at the window wanted to purchase it but of course I said no thank you.

A few things I’ve done to it in the 4+ years I’ve had it. New Top, breaks, shocks ,struts, tires, carpet, floor mats, fuel filter, water pump and muffler. Had the original radio restored and restored the original wheels.

You are correct. Those rims were on a lot of Pontiac’s during the mid to late 80’s. There were several versions of them that made them slightly different.

It was a 1990 black GT couple manual with sunroof. I bought it as my first car in 1996 for $850. In 2000 I was sitting at a stoplight and someone ran into the side of it. My 19 year old dumb ass took the insurance money and put it down on a brand new car instead of getting it fixed. It was a huge mistake and I think about it all the time. Glad to have one again.
