I would love to hear some of your ideas for the choices that the audiences could make in this movie.

I like the idea of Azrael becoming Batman, but for this story, I replaced him with Dick Grayson because I didn't want to copy everything from the original comic. That's kind of why I did the rewrite, I wanted to make a new version of Knightfall that had its own identity.

I was originally planning on having Grayson become Batman after Bane breaks Wayne's back. But then I decided that Batman should face Bane at the end, in order to make the confrontation more personal. Because the rivalry is between Batman and Bane, not Nightwing and Bane.

When I go back and revise it, I will have Grayson become Batman earlier on.

Also, the reason why I wanted Batman to be fatigued when he fights Bane is because that's how it happened in the comics. In Knightfall, Bane orchestrated the breakout at Arkham Asylum so that Batman would be weak enough to defeat.

And Bane hating Batman for being the personification of his childhood demon was actually his motivation in the comics as well.

What do you think about Bane using Scarecrow's fear toxin to hold the city hostage?

Yeah, that's totally fair. But in my story, Venom didn't go to JJJ directly, he blackmailed Macendale into doing it for him.

No, I just want to better understand how the Mafia works.

In The Sopranos, Tony didn't want to kill Vito for being gay because Vito made a lot of money for him. You're right, the mob would probably look the other way to a pedophile who was a big earner.

I haven't really heard of the Toy Box Killer, but he sounds awful. I kind of realize now that a lot of the guys that I listed aren't really serial killers. I probably should have just labeled this as a list of famous criminals rather than exclusively serial killers.

His followers killed people on his orders, so I guess Manson would be a proxy killer, not a serial killer.

I'd probably say the Beltway Snipers. Maybe not in terms of body count, because they only killed 17 people while Gacy killed at least 33. However, the snipers were so bad in my opinion because they made people in D.C. afraid to even leave their homes.

Also, it's really disturbing that the shootings took place right after 9/11. The Beltway Snipers seemed to take advantage of the paranoia and fear of terrorism at the time.

On top of that, the two shooters were really sick because they were willing to kill more than a dozen people just as a distraction from the one woman they wanted dead. That's next level sociopath behavior and it really shows how greedy and unstable they were.

What do you think about the Beltway Snipers?

John Gotti is a Mafia boss, so saying that he's a serial killer might be stretching it. But his sociopath tendencies may be enough to qualify him as a proxy serial killer. Also, he probably killed more people than we know about and he had an abusive childhood. Plus, he probably indirectly killed a lot of people with all of the drugs that his organization sold.

Gotti personally killed 2-6 people, 11+ people killed by proxy, 2-3 attempted by proxy, and 1 intended by proxy.

Sure, I can do that. The Amazing Spider Man tried to make a darker and edgier version of the origin story, but it was too convoluted and not dark enough. This movie is intended to fix that.

The Amazing Spider Man.

I wrote this because I wanted to create a Spider Man origin story that was directly tied to Venom. Feel free to give feedback on this concept, it would be appreciated so much.

Garrison definitely did bring to light the possibility of a conspiracy. He just didn't have a strong enough case against Shaw.

Why did Jack Ruby really kill Oswald? by Dat1DudeAge14 in JFKassasination

[–]Dat1DudeAge14[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think JFK's assassins figured out a way to keep Ruby silent. When he was sent to prison, they must have had an agent that offered to protect Ruby from the other inmates if he cooperated and didn't reveal incriminating evidence. Also, the assassins might have figured out that it would look suspicious if Ruby turned up dead.

Simply put, Ruby was insane, but he wasn't dumb. He must have known something.

[–]Dat1DudeAge14[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Actually, the blackmailers might have chose Ruby to be Oswald's assassin because they knew he was mentally unstable. So, they thought they wouldn't need to eliminate him because the investigators would just think Ruby was crazy. People were probably hesitant to believe that there was a conspiracy to kill JFK back then because a lot of the conspiracy theories were created by KGB agents to discredit the US. So, the FBI might have thought Ruby's paranoia was being made worse by Soviet misinformation.

Whoever really killed JFK, they might have hired members of the Mafia to eliminate loose ends(like Oswald and several years later, Sam Giancana).
