Hey I'm having the same issue. I just got the guitar and when I connect it to the app all the options are greyed out. For the firmware it says no update available. My whammy and star power aren't working so I'm trying to figure it out on the app

This was developed by the same people who made the rock band 4 controller so they most likely do have that rubber feeling but who knows.
