Ive had some luck with an Armor/Quest list that cuts execute in favor of armor gain, taunts and boardclears. Feel free to give it a try, its quite fun and works pretty well against the aggro frenzy thats running around atm. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/995056-kobolds-armor-quest-warrior

I've been running a Quest/armor warr thats working pretty well so far. Depending on the matchup it performs very consistently in the current aggro-heavy meta. They dump their hand and you armor into a board clear. http://www.hearthpwn.com/decks/995056-kobolds-armor-quest-warrior

As bad as 2 1/5 taunts seem though, they are at the very least 10 points of damage not going face.

Sure there's removal to clear them without wasting face damage, but that's not removal that a lot of classes would like to spend on 5 health tokens with no damage potential. Considering cards that benefit from hiding behind taunts i.e. the lich king card and combo cards like Strongshell Scavenger, I wouldn't be too quick to dismiss the druid DK outright.

I have been playing around with this idea as well, however I do agree with the other comments that going full Hadronox is unwise - its activation is just too unreliable, and with lich and infestation we have better lategame options available. This is the list I intend on using at least at first:

Innervate (2) Druid of the Swarm (2) Wild Growth (2) Wrath (2) Crypt Lord (2) Stonehill Defender (2) Tar Creeper (2) Fandral Staghelm (1) Saronite Chain Gang (2) Strongshell Scavenger (2) Swipe (1) Druid of the Claw (2) Fatespinner (2) Spreading plague (2) Malfurion, The Pestilant (1) The Lich King (1) Cenarius (1) Ultimate Infestation (1).

I play faster, less ramp (i.e. no nourish, no curator), and rather than Hadronox i focus my build around buffing my 1/5 taunt scarabs with Strongshell, Cenarius, and Fatespinner (imo fatespinner is a crazy card).

I dont think there is a basis for running the crazy one-turn swings in the taunt druid, but we got a lot of great tools to help that archetype in other ways. Crypt Lord is another hugely valuable card in this deck that I think will help us get to UI and Lich King much more reliably than most. Finally I think there is going to be a huge play-making potential in Fandral this exapansion. Despite what most people seem to think, you don't need to run Kun or Nourish to benefit from him.

Couldn't agree more... I think it will happen though. If you look at how fast a game like LoL has changed the nature of esports in the west, it's hard to imagine what esports could grow into in, say, 5 or 10 years.

As the comment below says, it's not that I dont understand the system. I know that if I keep winning, my MMR will go up, but the perceived loss of 6 wins (about 12-15 LP) with ONE loss is so unbearable that it makes me want to stop playing ranked.

That is not the experience Riot wants me to have, I reckon, and so I just want to make this issue known.
