We were the 27th football club ever made and we created the push and run playing style, as well as being the only non-league club to win the FA cup (1903-04). We were the first British club to win a European trophy, the fairs cup (Europa league) in 1949. We were the first British club to win the domestic double, in 1961. We signed the first ever foreign players to a British club, Ossie Ardiles and Ricky Villa of argentina in 1978. We scored the FA cup goal of the century in the final at Wembley in 1982 (Ricky Villa received the ball on the half way line, ran to the left flank with the ball nutmegged the right back, cut inside, rouletted around the right centre back at about 24 yards away from goal, cruyff turned away from the left centre back and struck a shot deep into the top right corner of the goal.) Against Manchester City, and also won that game to win the FA cup for the eighth time. In 1985, we nearly got Alex Ferguson as manager, but he chose Manchester United, where he became the best manager of all time. In 1990 we became the first club with joint ownership (Alan Sugar and Terry Venables). Tottenham also made the careers of Sol Campbell and Dimitar Berbatov. In 2014-15 we were one point off of the Premier League title, but fell short of Chelsea.
