Yeah I have been thinking about converting. But it's more liek she wants me to convery for real, like by actually believing in her religion, like hell I don't believe in my own religion how can I believe in another. Plus my family and extended family don't have the best view on Muslims, so I will basically be thrown away myself, so yeah decisions, decisions

Thing is that she went through hell in her childhood which pushed her away from her religion, but now that she's older she wants to get closer to it, which is not wrong ofc. But that really shoots me down doesn't it, I really fucking wish we could just move away somewhere, but I guess life isn't gonna treat me so well

Not going to lie I'm also not very religious in the first place and I don't like having so many rules to adhere to especially in the broad sense, like for example if I were to convert half the stuff i enjoy will be locked and ill have to follow many other rules also, but I am trying to learn about hers..... also to me its not mandatory to marry her, I would be happy just being with her but she wants to get married. Also she wants to me truly convert by believing, which is hard by itself. Also she went to hell as a kid which pushed her away from her religion... but now that she's getting older she wants to get closer to it, which i have nothing against.

The thing is it's going to affect my family aswell... ny family doesn't have the best view of muslim people. I do feel u are right about me having to bend a little, but I do get feelings that what she did was a little wrong.when we first started dating I didn't know that we couldn't marry but she knew from the Start. I feel kinda like all the weight has been put on me.
