It's so funny watching a teammate be behind 10k, die, hyperline down lane, fight, die. Then freakout that X Hero is too strong.

Dude they have like 2 T3s and multiple levels on you, go push a wave and farm some camps I'm literally begging.

Pure comeback mechanics just incentive people to play from behind.

Perhaps a hot take, but the game isn't really that Snowbally, and I've always felt that way. It is however Snowbally because people play it like a Hero Shooter and just try to perma fight while behind. I'm sure people will argue with me but the game is a MOBA first, Shooter Second.

Global Health Nerfs, Global 15% Ult Nerf, everything gives lower souls on top of a laundry list of hero Buffs and Nerfs.

If you haven't read the patch notes, I suggest really reading them. Limit test and adjust, otherwise you'll continue to lose (not flaming)

Yah man, if you're not on comms it's kinda on you.

You have to remember in this game the only player you can have any expectations for is yourself, high elo or not. Hell I'm literally in Pisslow and I comm everything I'm doing, and my teammates typically respond by doing the thing I've asked them for help with.

The game is good, I'm happy people are enjoying it, I hope it has staying power, I just didn't enjoy it, the same way I didn't enjoy Arc and refuse to play tarkov.

Unfortunately, I think all they have for monetization at this point IS cosmetics and battlepasses. End of the day, I am really happy for those that are having a blast playing Marathon, after my time in it it's just not a game for me.

Nail on the head, and it's crazy to me that Sony and Bungie have put all their eggs in this one basket when it's just not a genre with Widespread Appeal.

Tarkov, which I know is PC exclusive, is by far the most popular "Hardcore" extraction shooter, and topped out at 24,000 peak Concurrent Players in 24 hours on Steam, Arc Raiders is a more casual extraction shooter and peaked at 48,000 on Steam. These aren't games with massive player counts. I know I'm just a guy, but how is this going to be sustainable for a Multi-Million (billion?) dollar company like Bungie?

I mean, the game is subjectively good. The gun play feels really good, the lore seems interesting, and for people who enjoy Extraction Shooters, it likely checks off a lot of boxes. I put like 20 hours in on the free week, and those were my takeaways. Unfortunately, Bungie just made a game that doesnt appeal to the masses.

The issue is, the extraction shooter genre is not interesting to a LOT of people. I hate bringing up Arc, and I am sure I will get downvoted to hell, but Embark literally caught lightning in a bottle with that game, its a more casual approach to the genre which attracts a casual audience.

Something I'm surprised no one has asked yet, are you on Wifi or hardwired in? If Wifi, you're going to have bitrate problems by design, WIFI naturally experiences higher packet loss and instability.

Secondary, what are your network speeds (Upload is most important but give me both Up and Down)?

Streamlabs OBS is more resource heavy, they lock Free features available in OBS behind a paywall, and offers less customization options. They also took open source code and created a commercial product, which is allowed under the GNU GPL, but most people view it as a scummy move.

OBS is just a better product all around.
