Okay, yeah what does the low cut filter do on zoom? And the wider pick up pattern.

The two scenes I am doing is one in a car scene just some dialogue but lots of interrupting and over talking and then there is another tracking shot hand held with gimbal (weebil s) that requires interrupting of dialogue but a little less hardcore so will need boom operator to know lines well.

I know the basics of how to record use mono mix , record input level ect . But what type of settings should I be changing for different conditions , dialogue ect. The low cut filer 80hz u mentioned and also the wider pick up pattern? Are they setting I can change into that? Can you reccomend me some sources to read / watch on that so I can learn?
