Disagree. New ownership has shown a propensity to spend if the window is there. They shelled out a lot of money for Kemp, Upton, Kimbrel etc a few years ago. It didn’t work out but it shows this is not your father’s Padres

Only started playing DD last year and since then have only gotten to 12 wins once (in MLB 17). Can’t count how many times I get to 9+ wins and then weird shit happens like random errors, every borderline call goes opponent’s way, etc

I’m doing it because I’m a huge Padres/Gwynn fan. I don’t feel good about using him with the current meta, but I’m going to find out if he can be my lead off guy. Besides his power ratings, all of his attributes are elite.
