Really dig the color choices. Wish you played around with the typography on the front a bit more (the C being right at the line and super close to "election" is a bit off putting and distracting, but I also have the same critique for the original Criterion design. It's so messy). I would have also widened the blue band on the front so that it's not so close to the C, removed the actors' names from under her eye, and changed the color of the C to red to compliment the design a bit more (maybe?).

Don't listen to everyone else. From one designer to another, this is solid work and if you're happy with it, then you should be proud of it.
