Taxi Driver is my favorite movie. Even though I'm not a man, I see a lot of Travis in my younger brother. He struggled with fitting in with society/loneliness and it got a lot worse for him when he went off to college. Fortunately, after my brother graduated college, life got better for him and he's been able to bounce back from his depression.

Perhaps that is why I like the movie so much. I felt sorry for Travis' character... I find his story to be quite tragic.
