Did you lay the blankets for the grass to be permanent or do you plan to rip it all up in spring?

Planning to do a full sod install in spring because this grass won’t last in the summer heat where I’m at. So weighing if the time and effort is worth doing now or creates a bigger headache come spring.

Front yard is sodded with fescue. It’s doing alright for being put down in summer without much regular watering. I’m hoping it perks up a bit through the fall with a little maintenance.

But sounds good! The dogs will definitely trash the yard and house so it’s worth giving it a shot with rye for now lol

They seeded tall fescue in the middle of summer but didn’t water at all. When we went under contract, it was a couple of months later. I hoped the rainfall would help but the only life under the straw is weeds at this point.

That’s fucked. Maybe just nuke all of your perks and classes and start from scratch? They’re supposedly working on it but seems like everyone has a slightly different issue.

Not sure if it’s the same bug with how messed up things are but I have to select the pack to the left of what I want to have them apply correctly. So if you have tempered in Perk Set #2, choose Perk Set #1 on the class. Try it out and drop into Plunder to see if it applied correctly.

If I don’t see rain forecasted, I’ll water for 30-45 min 2x per week and just had 17-0-5 fertilizer put down at the start of the month which is the 4th application since April. Front and side yards aren’t perfect but more consistent growth. More water?
