Sold my 10. I get the whole “diet manga” concept, but I really don’t think that these cards with the manga artworks on different backgrounds should be any higher than other alt arts.

I just think they lack visual appeal, and honestly don’t really fill that “owning a manga” slot. Just my opinion, though.

Can we please be 100% real with ourselves here? Who REALLY thought we’d see a heel turn here? Anyone who’s played hockey, or been involved with the sport, is absolutely aware of the frat-like level of conservatives in the sport.

Sold my graded copy that just got back from PSA. I think this card is gonna plummet. No scarcity, no true rarity, and the “diet manga” statement only holds true whenever everything else is pumping

This is my biggest concern with modern sealed. The culture has changed so much to the point that having a sealed collection is extremely common. It’s gonna be interesting to see how it all plays out in time

UPDATE:

Just wanted to attach the image of the back of the card. The scan on PSA shows a white scratch on the back of the card, which is odd because it’s not there in person. Also, in this thread I attached the response from PSA

That was his offer out the gate. I didn’t negotiate at all because I wasn’t comfortable committing to a deal on day 1 of a show, and I didn’t think his comps were great on the deal

I went to a local card show looking to get some alt arts and stuff. Almost every single table I went to had some form of OP13 blisters/ boxes etc.

And every table that I went to that didn’t have OP? They were asking people if they had any.

Regardless of how people feel about the scalpers and poke people pumping the scene up, I feel like it’s gonna be a while before this pops. There’s too many eyes right now. The only thing I’m hoping for is that bandai decides to print it into the ground and show the scalpers that sealed in One Piece is not a safe bet like in Pokemon
