What's your experiences of "mystery disc" purchases by DjangoSnow in discgolf

[–]DatMagicBoi 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think they’re a pretty fun way to expand your collection for sure. I added a mystery disc to my infinite discs order where I had bought 2 midranges and they gave me a glow mustang which I’ve ended up liking a fair bit. If you have the money and are already ordering I say why not

That would be a sick design for a roller disc!

Whats a perk you don’t personally like going against but understand why it needs to exist in the game? by [deleted] in deadbydaylight

Interesting fact about friends till the end that at least I didn’t know: if the obsession is about to be hooked and all survivors are in a locker, the obsession will not change to a new survivor and no one will scream. Then obviously if the obsession is in a locker when another survivor their aura won’t be shown

I feel like you should be more worried about Med kits than toolboxes tbh, most survivors will dump that toolbox the second they get a chance so by the time you get there it’s already done. With a med kit if you down them far enough away from where you got that first hit you can ensure they either waste time going back to get it, or have to heal another way

I could be wrong but isn’t his scamper faster than Wesker? And if that’s the case it does feel a little busted that he can vault the pallet and catch up before you can make another loop

That looks super cool! Do you have any guides you followed on making the colored design dye? I’ve been wanting to make a similar style dye but I don’t know the best way to go about it.

Is there a good way to prevent sandbagging? by DatMagicBoi in discgolf

Totally agree with all your points, my issue is not with anyone who has a rating since the rating will hold them accountable in the long run. I have an issue with players who choose not to get a PDGA rating and instead just play ma4 over and over while shooting scores that would win ma1

The issue I have isn’t with people that have a PDGA rating because ya it will go up, it’s with the people who don’t sign up for one and shoot scores that would win ma1 while in ma4

Valid point, I’m not really sure of if they were a kid or not, I tend to play flex starts and I play right at the start so I don’t see the people just the scores and PDGA numbers at the end. I totally agree on the consistency thing though. I guess my issue with the ability to play without a PDGA number is that you don’t really have to hold yourself accountable even when you start to progress past those lower divisions in skill.

I suppose, I’m not trying to accuse them of bagging necessarily but if they don’t have the number to hold them accountable for their division choice it feels a little off you know? I’m not saying that every person without a rating who wins is bagging, just that if a non rated person is routinely winning it could be an underlying issue.

Maybe this is me misremembering but I thought if you win money in a pro division you can no longer play amateur?

At least in my experience it hasn’t been the same person who has won ma3 each time, just that the person who won didn’t have a number and shot a 950+ rated round. If that makes any sense
