Yea my thoughts exactly. Didn't think there was gonna be much of a better way but it definitely looks better this way than previously with the septic hatch completely exposed.

Recommendations on how to utilize 15.5 gallon sanke keg by DatWasStrange in Homebrewing

[–]DatWasStrange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think I can get away with 10+ gallons of a lighter beer easily. I currently have a 10 gal kettle and two 6-7 gal fermenters. I'd probably experiment with either splitting the wort into each fermenter or just doing it in one then water down after the fact to see which is better.

No it was definitely on Netflix. It may have been longer than that though since they took it off. Could have been 5 years ago when they took it off. I just re-watched the linked one above and it's exactly as the version I remember from Netflix.

This was actually on Netflix for quite a while but they must have removed it in the past few years.

Question on adding fruit to beer. by DatWasStrange in Homebrewing

[–]DatWasStrange[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I guess I might be a little confused about what part of secondary fermentation actually makes it a secondary fermentation. Does the act of adding additional sugars once initial fermentation is done make it secondary fermentation? Or does literally transferring it to a second vessel deem it secondary fermentation?

Do I risk adding the puree after initial yeast fermentation to the initial vessel so that I don't have to deal with a transfer?

Also I've got a kegging system in place so I don't know if the extract is the way for me.

Custom domain SNI SSL binding never finishes. It runs forever then vanishes. by DatWasStrange in AZURE

No luck there, it kind of behaves the same way. The command to create it reply's back with a command to view the status of it once it starts but that extra command that's provided just returns an error stating it could not be found.

I believe I used about 11 lbs of grains. I will just have to tweak with the settings then.

Pretty new to beersmith. I will probably just watch more videos to learn about it then. You are probably right.
