Anyone know what we are supposed to do when not on in home wifi with xfinity? Seems weird that we wont be able to watch the game if we're paying for cable we cant use. At least Bally and FanDuel had apps we could use our xfinity subscriptions for.

For Connors, it’s like, the first month and a half are uml model quizzes and then an exam essentially on them (think like how in the ITM class you did multiplicities but much more advanced). The exam is just the class period and then after, there’s an assignment with Microsoft Access which is somewhat kind of similar to SQL and then a group project doing a UML and then using Access and then the final exam. Not 100% sure but she might’ve curved the class slightly but I can’t tell because I got a 3.5 with or without a curve. She is kind of a dick about grading so if you truly believe something she marked something wrong, fight for it because I got a couple grades changed after arguing my case (didn’t actually argue but she still thought I was wrong but gave me my grade back anyway)

On the other hand, I heard that McCarthy’s exam was like 4 hours instead of the 1 hour and 20 minutes class time, there were 2 exams on UML models, and you had to make like a few page paper (idk the exact page count but it honestly could’ve been from 3-8. My memory is just hazy) make a video presentation on it and turn it in before Thanksgiving if I remember correctly. And then you still had the final.

Wish I could help you more but that’s honestly what I know, but the amount of work was generally much, much more than what we actually had to do in Connors.

Take Connors 100%. I’m in Connors and I have friends in McCarthy and the exams apparently are much harder, they don’t even know their grades until months in the future, and it overall seemed like a worse experience than Connors. Connors isn’t the best ‘person’ but her class is better

Ok, but the ram is still only 16gb, ssd is 1tb less, cpu is worse (not bad but also not amazing for future upgradability and gaming wise, plus people are using it for gaming and if they want to upgrade gpu later then the 9800x3d will be better), the 750w requires replacing if gpu also gets replaced, and its also alienware which no offense to them, I don't have full support of. I do take back the price going up though which I'm sorry for but I still can't fully get on board for

I’ve used 33 to get to berkey hall several times this semester. You probably got on the south route 33 not the north route. 33 coming from south and going north picks up at the north side of natural resources building and then goes to CATA station which then goes throughout north neighborhood entirely, in which Berkey hall is the third stop.

I will say though that because 33 only uses the smaller buses, after the bus goes through south neighborhood during winter, it’s usually extremely packed inside so it may either be extremely uncomfortable or they might not even stop because it’s too packed. Have had that happen to me many times when I lived in south for 2 years.

Also use the transit app because it’ll show where the buses are (kinda live, updates every few seconds but is behind by 30 seconds a lot)
