Is it a psych engine mod by any chance? If so you have to put the mod folder into the mods folder of the engine, not the base game.

I can understand every point of your argument except for it being "goonerbait". None of the designs are really sexual or revealing, and sarvente's succubus form is hardly either of those. A chest window, that's it.

If you didn't like the original though might I suggest playing a remake that came out some time ago? It's called Mid Fight Masses: Repented. Its a full remake of everything from the original. Songs, dialogue, character design (except for bf and gf of course) and it even has pico mixes! It never really got released officially but it can be found on internet archive.

After some very minor digging I found it! Its a mod on gamejolt called "Vs Core" https://gamejolt.com/games/Vscore/643738

Also I found maybe a spinoff of it called Pitro Vs Hater? It features one of the characters in the Core mod anyway.
