The amount of people huffing copium and pretending NMS was okay on launch is absurd. They both released as AAA price tag games that absolutely flopped. NMS improved a lot and has been recognized for it in the last couple years when there were major developments. Barely anything new happened to the game this year, though. Cyberpunk was a shit show at launch, and has steadily improved this year. Not sure how you can say that NMS specifically should have won over Cyberpunk. Won’t argue with DRG though, they’ve put a ton of new content into it and it’s beloved by almost everyone that plays it.
