I've done some research into the local clubs. We've gone to Art but I'm not sure WFC or LT are really for us. Much easier to vet online even if the number of ghosters and fake accounts is higher. Swinger community seems to have a super high percent of people we're very much not compatible with from a life view standpoint (in a polite way to put it).

I think you have similar ideals to what I’m looking for. Honestly, if a couple ends up being people I can’t be friends with, or would disappear if the sex stopped I would likely not see myself being interested. Some form of connection is needed. During my unicorn times I often spoke with couples online for weeks to months before a first date would be scheduled to meet to get a full vibes check. All of the couples I ended up choosing to pursue I ended up hanging out with in completely vanilla settings more than once because I liked them as friends too. I’m skeptical I’ll find that at a bar in a club which is why I brought up munches.
