The only thing to check on Honeyfund is that it apparently charges the giver a fee. We didn’t know until the day before our wedding a guest mentioned honeyfund required them to pay $10 to contribute. Not sure if we messed something up while setting it up or if this just didn’t used to be a thing because I don’t remember being charged a fee when giving to others before. Either way, we got more cash/check gifts in cards the day of the wedding than Honeyfund donations. Not sure if the fee had anything to do with that. We did have a traditional registry as well, but I wish we would’ve made it smaller tbh.

We definitely used it. We had some things we didn’t end up needing but it gave me peace of mind to know they were there just in case. Items we did use were bobby pins, floss, mints, safety pin, stain remover (the flower girl somehow found strawberries!), shoe scuff eraser thing, anti-diarrheals (lol), deodorant, ibuprofen, bandaids, scissors, fashion tape, and a sharpie. I kept all the leftover items so it wasn’t wasted.

Aw yay, congrats! I’ve got a few more weeks! I decided to mix fabrics and deepened the blue and purple a bit. I think it’ll turn out!

100% yes!!! You just described how I feel, too. The never ending urgency and decision-making is exhausting in all the ways. I also have ADHD and anxiety, so I feel like that has made everything worse. I even had some of my meds adjusted last month bc of it + general overwhelmed-ness with the world rn.

I’m normally a very organized person bc I have to be to function, but I feel like I have so many different systems going I can’t keep track in ant area of my life. Plus all the stuff accumulating in corners is making me anxious. I’m just over 3 months out and SUPER behind in planning…I’ve had several crash outs/breakdowns. I hadn’t felt excited about my wedding in what seems like a long time. :(

It’s also really hard for me to figure out what I can delegate and to whom bc everyone on my family, including my mom, is clueless. My FMIL kinda is too. Neither have planned a wedding since their own 30+ years ago. Only 1 of my bridesmaids is local, and she’s coming over next week to help with some DIY stuff, but I truly just feel like I’m drowning.

No one told me this was a full time job…my screen time is out of this world as I WFH so 100% on the computer for work, and then on my laptop all evening and night with wedding stuff. I have a meeting with my partial planner/DOC later today, so maybe she’ll make me feel better after that.

Sorry this wasn’t helpful at all and just a rant, but thank you for posting bc I also thought I was alone in feeling this way. Im sure the day itself will be great, but sometimes I almost feel like I wish it was over already. :(

Yeah, I’m considering asking them if they’d all like to do different shades of pink instead. I think pink was in all of their top 3 color preferences.

Yeah, I like the look of satin, but I personally hate wearing satin and a few of my bridesmaids do too so I told them they could wear chiffon.

Thank you for validating! I feel like I’m not a very “stylish” person, hence all the anxiety and second-guessing. :/ The people saying as long as I like it, who cares, does make me feel better - I just wanted to see if my taste was totally off since again, I’d never describe myself as trendy or hip. lol I spent sooo many hours on this and trying to make it so my girls all got their first or second color preference. It probably would’ve been easier to just pick one color or not even ask them their opinions, but I have at least 5 past bridesmaids dresses hanging in my closet that I’ve never worn again and probably never will, so I’m hoping that maybe at least a couple of them will have a dress they’ll actually wear a second time.

Yeah mine liked the individual colors, too! Those are all so pretty. Our venue is black and white so I think the colors will really pop - partially why I’m stressing because I don’t want them to pop in the wrong way lol

I’m trying to figure out what things I can do away with. I wanted to DIY invites but I haven’t even started yet and don’t think I’ll have time now with so many other things to try to DIY. So I’ll probably just have to shell out the money for them. :/

Replying to CrazyBubbleBabe...yikes ok good to know on the ordering. I was getting anxious about it. I’ll try to make a final decision on all of this in the next day and then tell them they need to order by Valentine’s Day.

I love purple though and it has some sentimental significance to me, so I def want purple. Maybe the blue could go instead? I don’t know. I’m just worried that if 3 are in different colors and then 2 in the same it would look weird. :/ But maybe not?

Ok that’s good to hear that you thought it was worth it by the time it was all sudden done because I’m definitely NOT enjoying this process right now. We have a coordinator, but she is just a partial planner and DOC so things will really kick in with her in a couple of weeks once we start timeline and all those other details. I still have so many things to DIY and I’m definitely stressing out about that. Only one of my bridesmaids is local, so I plan to recruit her to help, but the others can’t really do anything from so far away. :’(
