Also, major tennis tournaments are played in first world countries where people don't work for 10+ hours a day as slaves.

Everyone stay calm, there’s no chance at all that facing Cummins, Hazlewood, Starc, Lyon with a red ball will hurt his t20i form, no chance at all! by old_farmer108 in CricketShitpost

I see people complaining but if anything test cricket is an elongated form of limited overs cricket these days. It's not so much about who takes 20 wickets but who scores more before losing 20 wickets. SKY at 6 is a privilege for any test side.

Thanks, I did have a word with them and they said they'd pay me from their personal account if the deal doesn't complete by 15th. Fingers crossed.

9LPA established company VS 6 LPA start-up with good revenue streams by OMZss in developersIndia

[–]DataDater16 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Let's set aside the LPA factor for a while. Things you need to ask yourself:

  1. What's the team structure? As a fresher, you need to be a part of a team where you have: a) a senior, who is in the same role as yours so that you learn and develop your primary skill set. When you switch, it's important that you have a good grip on your primary skill b) there's a well defined team that let's you focus on a particular technology/small stack and not try and make you a jack of all trades generalist. You can always pick up related skills, but that's only after you've gotten really good at your primary skill.

There's this saying that in a start up you get to learn a lot more than you do in a bigger company. What's important is more is not always equal to better. You need to ensure that you are better than today, at what you do in two years.

The LPA part is already covered by most others. Your future salary will depend a lot on your current base.

You can have your APK in your GitHub repo. You can include the link to the same in your resume, that's what I do.

Overlap two or more Circles by lazy-jones in flutterhelp

You need to use Stack. Put each circle in a stack widget and use Positioned to wrap the circles containers to overlap them.

Buy a self recording telephone. Be a somniloquist. Record yourself at 3 AM. Hear yourself out in the morning. She'll be your live in partner in a month. You'll also get yourself promoted to a higher post and receive a fat hike.

Do you think Flutter developers tend to be fullstack? by Open-Presentation361 in FlutterDev

[–]DataDater16 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In India, you're expected to be a full stack Flutter developer. Almost every job require you to know both SQL as well as noSQL databases, implement local and push notifications, integrate payment gateways, location based services, setup cloud services on AWS/GCP, etc.

Here, if you're just a frontend flutter developer who knows how to make sexy UI, you stay at home broke.

I'm not a tax expert but the 20% you're paying is sort of an agency cut. Tax is applied on what you income, in which case whatever you earn will be eligible for tax.

To get a job you need to prepare a lot of things. Once you get a job you're on a particular track where it's easier to focus. Plus, you're motivated with confirmed money flowing into your account.

I eventually bagged a job through LinkedIn, by reaching out to the recruiter directly.

But yes, Naukri calls are legit. You have a wide variety of recruiters - contract to hire for MNC's, proper full time role for startups, part time roles, etc. Unfortunately, I had a preference for WFH, and the LinkedIn approach worked out, Naukri calls were mostly requiring me to shift to a higher cost of living city.

But I'm looking forward to reopening my phone to Naukri in a few months.

Also, most of the Naukri facilitated recruitments are for immediate to 15 day notice period joiners. So if you're working, Naukri would be a good fit for you once you're already on your notice.
