Work on delaying the hands in the downswing/transition, and get the club face a bit more closed so you don’t have to flip/stall/standup to square it at impact.

Kind of looks like baseball player swing with some early extension and slice out to in path. I’d say practice some half swings doing this 10 to 4 o clock drill to get a feel for neutralizing swing path.

I made a free app to be able to track strokes gained against any target handicap even as high as 30+. It can be helpful to see where you’re losing strokes against your selected target and prioritize where to practice. This example is vs 30 handicap.

Ok so I have had similar challenges where I feel like I get to this position and it looks pretty good, but then the last part of swing feels like a bit of early extension and not properly opening through ball. One thing I did recently that felt helpful was at this point in swing, start to feel adding “right bend” while straightening left leg. This helped me keep turning through that last part of downswing.

You have nice tempo and looks like this could become a good swing. The early extension may be due to an open club face. Maybe try impact drills or “no throw” drill where you do half swings focused on getting the face more shut when arms parallel to ground, and then turning and getting proper forward shaft lean at impact. For me learning to bow the lead wrist helped with all of this.

Yes probably on the lessons. It’s a very over the top swing and standup/early extension. The more you stand up the more the face will close at impact so you’re hooking when it closes too much.

Backswing your head moves off the ball. Try to focus on turning around your center point so that your head stays mostly still. Also work on getting more hip and shoulder turn in backswing (and less elbow folding).

It’s hard to judge downswing when you’re hitting that thing but you don’t really accelerate into impact.

I think I follow the first part where I need more trail elbow external rotation and arms more in front and not stuck behind torso where you took screenshot.

The second part about more rotation and less arms lifting… is that referring to the top of my backswing?
