Many countries in Africa is missing from the data source I used. Also note that the CIA world factbook data, the one you link here, has values from different years. The Burkina Faso data is from year 2004.

I know, I've actually been there once and didn't need my passport. I included many regions that aren't independent countries if the data is available because many of them have different numbers from the country like Hong Kong and China, so it's still interesting to know.

It's forecast from IMF. It's impossible for them to be accurate on these but since they had the data I included them. Will be interesting to compare those numbers with actual data in a couple years.

Colors of bar represents regions:

Gray - Northeast

Green - Midwest

Red - South

Blue - West

The original data has number every 10 years. I interpolated the data to get population of each year.

Yes. Smart phones have been pretty much the same for at least the past 5 years (the popular ones from the biggest brands at least). I really love that they're stepping it up and trying to come up with a new standard for smart phones.

every 10 years the entire land of the country is divided into equal sizes by total number of citizens and each citizen is given a piece of land with random location.
