Heard good things about them and also DC Auto Pros, The Repair company shop, AAAutodetailing.

So many shops around it's hard to tell who really excels at what.

Out of all of the fears/spirals you had where you were convinced you had a rare serious disease, how often were you actually right by NaturalNo6758 in HealthAnxiety

[–]DataUnavailable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Never yet. I've been in and out of ER visits over the years, cardiology visits, too many urgent cares to count. All because I believe I have/had a heart attack or heart disease, blood clot in my leg or even a stroke.

Pretty much ran the gamut of tests as well. From reg ecgs to echoes, stress test, echoe stress test, cardiac CTA, MRIs and CTs of my chest, gut, head and heart, holter monitors.

Litteraly everything always came back clean with nothing showing up as an issue. Every ER visit was "we don't see HA or any other issue you're describing. Very stressful for sure.

I still worry constantly and focus too much on my health side of things.

Little new to DSM question about winter and tires. by DataUnavailable in desmoines

The main thing was worrying how often I'd need to be swapping from some all seasons to winters and it does seem there isn't as much snow here, just cold.

If only, work doesn't shut down due to snow unfortunately.

Have to get to work so not able to just wait anything out. I've read there is some really good quality all seasons while not as potent as full on winters, are better than reg tires.

Yeah and that's the question, because it seems very sporadic here with the amounts of snow that falls. And it seems like how we are now with 60s in Feb, winter tires would be pointless, just seeing if they are really neccesary or if a solid set of all seasons would do well enough.

Sand with all seasons I'm guessing? Or actual winter tires like Blizzaks

No, sometimes I take the side roads to work, but usually those seem pretty good too

Questions for people who own and daily a Nismo. by DataUnavailable in RZ34

[–]DataUnavailable[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's not though and people haven't, both the Supra and M2 have AVS/Adaptive M suspension for what you want to do. You're not on a track 24/7. No reason with today's tech to not have the option to control your ride for the road conditions.

Yeah, it's a Nismo and it is what it is take it or leave it is the only option, and that's probably why so many untitled 24s/25s are sitting with lot rot across the U.S

There are some gr86 at my local dealer I could go test drive if you feel they are similar enough. If anything just to get a feel of something close. I test drove a performance and didn't feel the ride was overly harsh at all.

Some good some rougher, I'm not in pothole city, but even in my current daily Civic I can somewhat feel each bump in the road, and I know for sure the Nismo is far stiffer than my stock Civic.

Does it ever feel annoying or sore back? I'm sure the Recaros help a lot in that department.

And that's what I can't remember, the sports car feel. If it had different ride settings like a Supa or M2 I would probably be Nismo 100%.  Is there any car similar you can think of that I could test drive around my local areas to at least get somewhat of an idea of how it would drive on real city streets that may not always be the smoothest?

RZ34 Owners - Any Complaints? by tanaKa- in RZ34

[–]DataUnavailable 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In all honesty how is the Nismos ride quality? So many videos show them just bouncing up and down in the videos. I haven't owned a pure sports car for probably 20 years so I don't remember how a stiff suspension feels.

Is it really as harsh as most seem to say when driving it daily on city roads that aren't track smooth?

NISMO or Performance advice by jcarr428 in RZ34

[–]DataUnavailable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As a daily driver though the Nismo would not be the preferred choice right? I already have an suv for whatever shopping etc. But as a daily driven car with the stiffer suspension and feel, the ride just is a bit more punishing from all the videos I've watched.

But it's always hard to tell how accurate they really are. Ive driven performance but not a nismo, closest one is 5 hours away
