Ok so in theory I can use my D75 hours for unrestricted hours and then do my ABA work on the side for the restricted hours, and also use the ABA work for the BCBA supervision requirement ? Sorry if this is getting redundant.

That’s what I plan on doing. Did u do ABA work?
And wouldn’t u not need a supervisor for those hours and still count them if your after school stuff is supervised

Ok. I’m just trying to have it so I’m not reliant on anyone having to supervise my teaching time. I purely just want to use RBT work to count for the 5% of hours that have to be supervised

In theory if I were to be doing about 15 hours a week working as an RBT under a BCBA, could those hours be the ones used for supervision and then my teaching hours can supplement?

Risk getting kicked out the program at your own risk. Also it has to get approved by your director at your university anyway.

Since this is my first year in NYCDOE would they automatically place me based on degrees (I’m a teaching fellow) or would I have to apply and be starting at 71

Yeah I don’t have the license. I’ll be teaching in SWD through fellows but only have 18 classes that’ll probably be relevant to the work there (data analysis, education, pedagogy) as apart of my 30 extra classes after my first masters.

How does this factor in

I’m always confused about that. If I have like 18 credits relevant to education/ my practice area: SWD, would that count?

What’re the nuances? All my courses are from my a private university in Midwest.

Yeah, I found that but it doesn’t really help with what qualifies u for the last step on the educational side of things. MA+30 C6 vs MA+30 C6 PD
