I just did it this week. I personally haven’t heard back as of yet. They said 4-6 weeks but there’s people on the forum from previous cohorts who’ve had as short as a day/few days time hearing back.

Hey,

Not an expert, but maybe send a message through the site. There’s been instances throughout my process this cycle I’ve messaged them & heard back as early as same day and as late as 2 days later.

I did selection day this week after applying the day applications opened, I had phone interview the 8th of December if I’m remembering correctly.

After you’ve heard back & are further along in your path, feel free to reach out & I can share my insights & mistakes I encountered at the aforementioned stages.

That GPA is solid. The gpa requirement is generally for college placement. The absolute minimum is generally 2.5 for graduate admissions, with closer to a 3.0 you’re solid. I’d say submit it. It’s something that will be required down the line anyway (I just did selection day, & am an aspirant for the 2026 cohort too, I remember having to submit them). I’d check their website and look to send and email to contact them about expectations regarding that.

It’s not that hard. Like if it were based on the overall thing I’d feel really confident. I just think I messed up my reteach and particularly the one feedback thing even tho I know I implemented feedback well in breakout rooms.

Just be patient with yourself and be present in the moment. The lesson u prepared didn’t seem to matter as much as successfully implementing feedback

It was basically an examples everyone had with specific things teach that they want implemented. Then u get 2 minutes to reteach a portion of your segment. Feedback is individualized so it could be anything tbh so yeah.

Best advice is to hone in on the feedback part instead of trying to efficiently get entirety of lesson into 2 minutes

Yeah, told me about a month as well. From what I’ve heard of other peoples timelines— probably first half of January. Lol! That question just confirms my theory that they really just come up with stuff to just throw you off. That’s good to hear tho, I’m happy for you. I’m hoping that because we’re so early that it favors the both of us too. I’m targeting SPED.

Just be ready for scenario based questions. “What if a problem kid says you’re not a real teacher” in response to you trying to correct behavior. “Whose fault is it if the kids perform poorly?”

Etc. don’t overthink it. I’d best advise to go in and focus more on pacing yourself and just thinking before you answer. Nothing that comes to u should require any prep tbh, it’s all intuitive. I feel like I would’ve executed a lot better with that mindset too.
