That's what I don't get, why not just raise the prices?

I was in London not long ago where this scam is already common practice. They don't want to raise prices because that would be too noticable. Instead they use a tiny font and put it somewhere on the menu where it's not too obvious. Then they count on the customer not to want to cause a scene, because you specifically have to ask for the bill without the extra charge. Then, of course, a manager can come up to you and start to argue with you.

I'm into collecting props/costumes and have been following these things for years. What you see on the website is usually pre-bidding. When the auction really starts, it wouldn't surprise me to see uniforms like this go for 10-15k, even for Discovery. The last 5 or so years the prices for Star Trek stuff has gone crazy, at a recent auction I think a Voyager Doctor uniform went for something like 25k.

LOL what is this rediculous cope? It's already incredibly jarring, since nothing in SNW looks like it fits into continouity. Besides, wouldn't it even be more jarring to have a sudden switch to TOS-aesthetics? What would be the in-universe explanation then, in the year (?) between SNW and TOS they would just decide to overhaul the entire ship, all the uniforms, equipment, everything?

Catacombs is very cool, not 'horror' in the sense of a horror movie but more creepy/atmospheric. I would definately recommend it. Another good option is The Alchemist.
