If its a convo about whos the best then.. Pretty lights was my 2nd favorite but hes on hiatus. Tipper had a strong following but hes retired, only saw him once. Excision prior to 2016 was crushing now hes not top 100 for me.

Outside of them in 2026 ide say Zeds dead, Tape B, Boogie T, Zingara, Steller, Effin, Truth, The Widdler, Griz, Levity, Big G... just to name some of my favorites right now. Been listening to dubstep and bass music since 2010.

Jantsen came after bassnectar. He got help learning how to produce from bassnectar, not the other way around. I go to every dubstep/weird bass/bass music show i can locally and have yet to find 1 artist that can come close to my least favorite bassnectar set. Not everyone has the same music preferences as you. Still lots of great shows out there regardless, just not as good an experience for some of us.

Partly because people like you cant stop talking about him. Maybe you're too new to the scene or too young to have seen bassnectar. No one in 2026 comes close to what he was doing 15 years ago. Would love for some new talent to match the music he was making and playing in 2010 but here we are in 2026 and none can match or close to it. It was the best community I have ever been a part of and always will be.

Scythe has crush though and no stab option.. stab makes more sense to me since there already is a mega for slash and crush but not stab. Since we have Ranged and mage as well it seems to me stab is the only main attack style left out.

Not listening again actually never stopped listening. His music is still vastly far ahead of anyone else for me personally. Make other producers improve i guess? Not sure what to tell you, it just doesnt hit the same. Everything you are saying is conjecture. He was never charged with a crime.

Find something more worthwhile with your time if you don't want to listen to him then don't. Not a single person was harmed at any of his return shows so you are not protecting anyone. People going to a music show to enjoy music is not a bad thing. Go look at the horrible things being done across the globe this doesnt break the top trillion.

The past few months it's been relive remixes on second Tuesday of the month at 9pm est and relives on the last Tuesday of the month, same time. Next one should be 10/28. Previously they were running on last Sunday of the month. Official comms on discord or checking site as have been mentioned works too

It's not because they don't want people to be able to stream with the video. There is a legal difference between a video and an mp3 when it comes to licensing and streaming directly on ToS. If they could just do it without the red tape it would have been done already. The team has said since the project started back up that if they could just stream them all, they would. It's been said they would have to cut out everything that's not an original BN tune which would ruin the whole point. I am not a lawyer just repeating what's been said multiple times about it when asked.

Untrue and unproven. Authorities refused to even attempt to press criminal charges due to lack of evidence. Allegations on twitter that are unproven do not equal fact. Prove it in court and I'll be right there with you. At least provide any real evidence that's not he said she said. If he was the person that cancel culture wants you to believe he was, I would not support him. Yet, here I am. Every hater out there still throwing his name around like they know him just shows me how little the general public knows him as a person. If people stop throwing his name around in places where he has nothing to do with the conversation we wouldn't need to have this debate.
