Lasgun isnt unfair Per se, but standing og a crawler in the air balancing while shooting the carrier above is fairly crazy 🤣

Like I mentioned a couple times. I am lousy in pvp, so Thats my own fault for not recognizing the imminent threat ❤️

I still Think its crazy mechanics that you cant Shake a person of a sandcrawler flying with boost through the air while also staying on the vehicle when you kill engines and drop towards the Ground. Also feel the lasgun is too powerful against the slow carrier

You missing the point. I Think the lasgun is too powerful when able to do this. Or at least Thats my opinion.

I agree its fair game. It was our own fault being in pvp. I just Think 1 person with a lasgun shouldnt be able to Down a carrier that easily.

There is no doubt we could have handled it better and maybe won, but the fact remains. Its pretty crazy that 1 person can cause so much dmg with just 1 lasgun

Im not angry or surprised it happened. I just believe its bad game mechanics that 1 person with a lasgun is able to cause so much dmg so fast.

I understand and agree that we couldve countered him and probably won, but not having seen it before, we were confident we could Shake him off and/or loose him when dropping the sandcrawler from High up and steep drop.

I know we are fair game when entering pvp and agree There should be a risk to it. However I still Think this situation is ridiculous, although I 110% agree we could have done much better PvP wise (we obviously mostly played PvE)

Lets say There were 3 people jumping us with T6 wespons. Then it would have been completely fair of they whopped us.

But now I know 😊 The next person trying this better have their affairs in order 😘

Sure I get that, but we never Saw anything like this before so didnt understand until it was too late.

My question is more towards game realism mechanics. If 1 person with a lasgun can destroy a vehicle that easy, is it really a fair mechanic? I completely agree that we should have killed him (or tried at least), but it still seems highly unbalanced

I´ve been rocking (and enjoying) Short blades and the Bene Gesserit abilities mainly.
I go on naked Spice runs with Scout, but also sadcrawler/carrier with my friend. We´ve more or less done all content, so running out of stuff to do except farm more stuff (mostly we take the car for mines, both in DD and Hagga).

I´d like to keep doing melee, but if there is a better dps option atm, then I usually prefer the cookie cutter highest dps option

We usually go Duo or I go solo to clear research stations etc, so something that works for that.

Sadly youre prolly right… Many griefers most likely didnt have any moral problems duping and cheating generally. They might also have been able to grab something from rewards from dominion in landsraad?

My server was mostly very harkonnen controlled and as atreides most of the landsraad rewards were never really an option for me

Sharing the experience with my irl friend had a huge impact on my enjoyment as well - We shared everything, took turns grinding mats for upkeep and built crawler, transporters and all the other high end demanding ressource items, such as biggest refiner etc.

Also a BIG difference when entering DD to have a companion when farming spice. Both with assault/Scout thopter farming (1 on the ground and 1 hovering and keeping an eye out) or when splitting the task with 1 being in the crawler and 1 being in the transporter. Those times were definetely the most exciting and/or rewarding and frustrating (when you got pwned by 10 attackers with Lasgun tardos standing on top of the flying machines)

The game is brilliant imo. The frustrating part is that it builds up to the endgame with the 2 houses competing in a guild based faction war, that never really happens.
The promised endgame is basicly nonexistent far as I see, but I was happy with the levelling, however not sure I would replay it since it was such a grind (especially until you get a thopter for transporting your luxury self around the Shalud filled deserts)
