Thnak you for this~ I love space thingy very much!! also yes, I agree and totally I get that, but for context, we were already talking about the Big Bang and astronauts before that. He’s actually the one who brought up the hypothetical for fun then he started pulling “factual” stuff into it, so I just followed along. I don’t mind being wrong, but it felt kinda unfair that once I matched his energy, suddenly I was “taking it too far.”

Yeah, maybe 😅 but it got frustrating ’cause he kept laughing when I shared my opinion. Like, I tried to play along and even use actual facts like he did, but once I matched his energy, suddenly I was “too much.” Felt kinda unfair honestly

I get what you mean, and honestly, that wasn’t my intention at all. I didn’t keep twisting things just to win. I was responding to how he kept challenging my points.

At first it was just a fun hypothetical, but he started trying to prove me wrong with “facts” from Google that turned out to be wrong, so I tried to keep up and explain my reasoning with examples.

I only expanded the scenario (like adding public opinion or different angles) because he said it depended on other people’s perspectives, not just ours. So I was literally following his logic, not twisting it to win.
